Message My Z has a deteriorated lower radiator support brace due to either improper jacking, a fender bender, rust or some combination of the above so I am considering bracing it with a piece of C channel. I realize it would be a much more thorough fix to cut the spot welds and re weld a new lower rad support in but I don't know where to find one and don't have the time to do that. Additionally, a brace would allow jacking from that member and some nominal rigitiy (not that big of a benifit, I know). Anyway, I tried measuring and looks like I will need a 4.5 in x 33 in piece of C channel. I will mark the tension rod bracket holes, drill, and then tack the C channel in place to check for fitment. Does anyone see any potential problems with this? Should I just look harder for a lower rad support and do a complete fix? Anybody have one lying around? Thanks for the imput.

Ps- the car will be needed weekend after next so my plans are based on this timeline. Thanks again
